Skills Swapping

Everyone will probably have noticed the big sheets of paper on the back of the door.

IDEA

As part of our self motivated project we have begun to develop the idea of arranging a few workshop sessions whereby we can share the collective skills we have gathered as a class. It will give us a good body of work to put into our folio along with all the solo work that we will be conducting anyway

Some people will initially feel as if they cannot contribute as much as others but I strongly believe that by sharing skills we can all learn something from one another.

I would hope that these sessions could help us as individuals understand where our interests and strengths lie for 4th year, bring our class closer together and create new and exiting things

  • How best do you think we can best organise this?
  • Josey suggested a brainstorming session over drinks in the studio...what do people think of that. Wine and post-its all the way!
  • What role do you see the blog playing in this?
  • When would people like to see these sessions happening?

Keep thinkinking of things to add to the  I WOULD LIKE TO | I CAN | I AM board

    1. I think this is the kind of activity which not only will be good for getting some new mad skillz but also having this Obama-esque change is good mentality in the classroom.
If you don't like something do something productive about it.
I wish sweatbands would appear with snappy phrases for us to wear on the day.
      Yay-ah!
